Our Story

Ever since Merli and Hannele became friends in high school and even more so after they started to study culture management in Viljandi, Estonia, a will to do things was great. Organising events is easier when you have an organisations to rely on. But they did not…

Until 2009. E-mails and ideas were exchanged and when Merli went to visit Hannele in Edinburgh, UK, where she was doing her voluntary year service… Well, they say that philosopher David Hume had some great ideas when he walked Calton Hill. And that is exactly where the decision to establish an NGO between long-time friends Merli and Hannele was made.

Officially, our birthday is on 3rd of September, 2009.
